Christopher D. Brady
Christopher founded The Chart Group in 1994. With over 25 years’ experience in private equity, corporate finance and capital markets, Chris focuses on identifying and building portfolio companies through his extensive industry relationships and perspective.

Prior to Chart, Chris spent fourteen years in the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets Departments of Lehman Brothers, The Lodestar Group and Dillon Read. Chris earned his B.A. from Middlebury College and his M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. Chris currently serves as a director of Bitrage, SeaMobile, Inc., US Helicopter, Inc. and several other Chart investments and affiliates.

Chris has been actively involved channeling the resources of the business community to assist with DoD related initiatives. Over the last several years, he has organized a venture capital team with an affiliate of the US Army to commercialize their technologies and bring better commercial technologies to the warfighter; assumed a prominent leadership role with Wounded Warriors/DSUSA, a foundation dedicated to working with injured soldiers; and served as a member of the Transition Team for the US Army Secretary Dr. Francis Harvey. He has served in senior management positions in numerous New Jersey political campaigns
David H. Collier
David joined Chart in 1995 and led the formation of Chart’s US private equity team, Chart Capital Partners, in 2000. With over 14 years of principal investing experience in the US and Europe, he is responsible for originating and structuring equity investments, serving on portfolio company boards, and managing overall fund activities.

David joined Chart from Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was a Senior Consultant, and the US Department of Justice, where he was a policy analyst. David received a B.A. from Duke University and an M.A., with honors, from the George Washington University. David currently serves as a director of Wencoast Restaurants, TracRac, and Genesis Today and an observer at SeaMobile. David is also actively involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Duke University.
Martin G. Ettlemyer
Marty is engaged in all aspects of the fund, with an emphasis on evaluating and managing equity investments. He has over 10 years of principal investing experience in the US and Europe.

Marty joined Chart in 1997 from Salomon Brothers Inc. where he was a Research Associate in the Automotive Group. Previously, Marty was a Credit Analyst with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Marty received a B.S. with honors from Babson College. Marty currently serves as a director of Wencoast Restaurants and PCNY.
Gregory Frank
Greg joined Chart Capital in 2007. Prior to Chart, Greg was the EVP of Battelle Science and Technology International where he was responsible for a $900 million P&L and more than 5,500 scientists, engineers and support staff. This division was focused on National Security; Health and Life Sciences; and Energy, Transportation and Environment. Greg earned his B.S. and M.A. from University of South Dakota and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at Duke University. Greg also served as a Captain in the US Army. Greg currently serves on the board of Ventaira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Horne Engineering, Franklin University, UT-Battelle, Battelle Ventures, Research Insurance Company Limited, University of South Dakota Foundation and the Columbus Zoo.
Charlene S. Ryan
Charlene joined Chart in 2003. Charlene is involved in end-to-end execution of equity investments including new deal evaluations and portfolio management. Prior to Chart, Charlene was an Associate at Indosuez Capital, the U.S.-based merchant banking division of Crédit Agricole Indosuez. Charlene received a B.S.B.A. from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
Deirdre E. Kilmartin
Deirdre joined Chart from Wilhelmina Models where she served as an agent. Deirdre earned her B.A. with honors from Central Connecticut State University.
