Defense, Security and Government Services (DSGS). Chart Capital has deep experience serving the DSGS sector, and works closely with portfolio companies in a variety of industries to craft and execute strategies to reach the DSGS market. We specialize in investing in successful commercial enterprises that have a product or service with untapped government channel demand.
Within the DSGS sector, we are passionate about products and services that allow our first responders to do their job more safely and efficiently.
Consumer. We partner with exceptional executives in segments with long-term strength, where successful niche brands can build considerable equity value, and acquire and build undermanaged divisions from corporate brands. We like to invest in emerging brands where capital can be employed to accelerate growth.
Energy Services and Infrastructure. We look for companies building or providing energy infrastructure to the US rather than exploring for or producing the commodity itself. We have deep experience in the natural gas space, but also consider renewable energy, energy services, equipment and other sectors tied to energy infrastructure.
Telecommunications and Media. We look to back proven operators in niche businesses where we see opportunities for sector or significant share growth, and are particularly interested in proven communications products and services with potential DSGS applications.
